Shah, who is preparing to compete in the 2018 election, will have to register a primary win in March next year for the party ticket. Shah has announced to contest the elections from the suburbs of Chicago for the House of Representatives.
Washington: American doctor of Indian origin Sapan Shah will contest the US Congress next year. Shah, founder of Flagship Healthcare in Chicago, has announced that he will contest the House of Representatives for the Republican candidate from Chicago's suburban area.
Democratic leader Brad Schneider is currently representing this seat. Shah, who is preparing to compete in the 2018 election, will have to register a primary win in March next year for the party ticket.
