New Delhi: After the assault with Delhi Chief Secretary Anshu Prakash, there has been an earthquake in Delhi's politics. Officials have refused to talk to the Delhi government. On this issue Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal met Deputy Governor Anil Baijal on Friday.
Meeting with deputy governor
After the meeting Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia told reporters that he met the Deputy Governor and apprised him of the situation in Delhi. The Chief Minister apprised the Deputy Governor that the officials are not coming to the office for the last 2-3 days nor are they picking up any minister's phones. Many important meetings were canceled after the officials did not come.
He said that the Deputy Governor said that he will talk to the officials. He assured that the officials would cooperate in the functioning of the Delhi government. There will be no obstruction of any kind in the work. Manish Sisodia said that the Deputy Governor said that he assured the officials that the officers will be present in every meeting of the Delhi Government and work together with the Ministers.
The Deputy Chief Minister said that the Delhi government has given assurances on its behalf that such incidents will no longer be forwarded.
AAP MLA said, officials should strike
Aam Aadmi Party MLA Naresh Bialan gave a controversial statement on Friday. Addressing a public meeting in Uttam Nagar, Balian said, "Those who have happened with the Chief Secretary, who have made a false allegation, I am saying such officials should be attacked." He said that it is right to beat those officers who interfere in the work of the general public. Naresh Bialan said that for those who will not work, they will use similar words. Balyan said, today 2 lakh people of Delhi are not getting ration and they are complaining to us, so it is our responsibility that we will settle it.
