Rotomak scam: Case registered Vikram Kothari, questioned the CBI and raids continue

Earlier, there was a rumor that Vikram Kothari has been absconding with several crores of rupees worth around Rs 800 crore. According to media reports, renowned industrialist of Kanpur Vikram Kothari had taken a loan of about Rs 800 crore from five big banks in the country. He took a loan of Rs 485 crores from Union Bank of India and took loan of Rs 352 crores from Allahabad Bank. Apart from these two banks, loan from other banks was also taken.

Kothari has alleged that even after one year, he has neither paid the loan nor has paid the interest amount. In such a situation, according to the guidelines of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), an Authorized Committee was constituted. This committee had on February 27, 2017, the RotoMac Global Pvt. It is being told that the lock was closed on the Rottomack Company's office in the city center of Mal Road, Kanpur for the past several days.
